Join CRWDA for a special short documentary screening that traces the remarkable legacy of the Chinese railroad workers who helped build America’s First Transcontinental Railroad.

Follow William’s compelling journey as he retraces the footsteps of the 12,000-15,000 Chinese laborers who constructed the western portion of the Transcontinental Railroad. This intimate documentary captures his quest to uncover their enduring legacy, beginning at Utah’s historic Golden Spike site and traveling westward along the rail line to California. The journey then crosses the Pacific to the rural villages in Southern China where these brave men began their historic journey, before returning full circle to Utah.
